Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71 One UI 2.1 Update With Galaxy S20s Camera Features

Samsung has started rolling out a new system update for their A51 and A71 phones. The new update comes with major camera changes and June 2020 security patch.

Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71 are mid-price range phones in the Samsung Galaxy lineup. Both phone were released some days apart in 2020.

Samsung Galaxy A51 has 6.5 inches Super AMOLED Display, 48 and 32 MP Back and Front cameras, 4000 mAh battery, Octa-core Exynos 9611 processor, and Android 10 One UI 2.
A71 has 6.7 inches Super AMOLED, 64 and 32 MP Back and Front cameras, 4500 mAh battery, Octa-core Snapdragon 730 processor, and Android 10 One UI 2

Samsung has recently announced that A51 and A71 will get S20s like camera features in the upcoming update.

The new Update Firmware version is A715FXXU2ATG1 is rolling out to the user in India, UAE, and Poland. 

The new camera features are full-fledged Pro Mode, My Filter, Night Hyperlapse, Single Take.

  • In Pro Mode, you can control your camera settings as you like.
  • Single Take is where phone creates a new gif, taking photos, creating filtered phones and shot clips from your recorded video.
  • My Filters give your ability to create and save your own created filter. So you don't have to adjust filter settings for photos every time.
  • Night Hyperlapse is the mode where you can create your own time-lapse video, it adjusts everything for you to make a beautiful Hyperlapse.

Here's is how you can check the update for your Phone

1. First, go to the settings of your phone.

2. When you are in the settings scroll down and you will see the "Software update" option, Tap on it to open it.

3. Okay, now tap on the "Download and Install" option and phone will start checking for the latest available update for your phone and will inform you if a new update is available.

If you don't get the new update, it means Samsung hasn't rolled out the update in your region, In this case, you can wait for Samsung to release the update to your region, They will release it after some days or you can update it manually via downloading the latest firmware and flashing it on your phone.
