How to Root and Install TWRP in Samsung Galaxy J8 with Lockscreen and Fingerprint Fix For Android 10

How to Install TWRP and Root Samsung Galaxy J810G/F/M/Y with Lock screen & Fingerprint Fixes

Samsung Galaxy J8 is a mid-range android phone in the J series, It was released in July 2018. It has Super AMOLED Display, Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 (14 nm) Octa-Core 1.8 GHz Processor, Adreno 506 GPU, Dual Camera, 4G RAM, 64 GB ROM, 3500 mAh Battery, and Android 10 with Samsung One UI.

Samsung Galaxy J8 received the Android 10 last year in July, earlier there were no custom recovery or lockscreen fix for our J8, we had to rely on the Magisk to patch the boot file and then flash it using the Odin tool and use the phone without any screen lock!

Thanks to the XDA user 4yush5663 for porting TWRP recovery, AnyKernel3 and making the lock screen patch for our Samsung Galaxy J8 Phone, Now you can easily root our J8 phone, it will work on any variant of J8 (J810G/F/M/Y).

Download these files and place them in the external storage (sd card, pen drive, etc...) because internal storage will be completely wiped:-

Thanks to XDA user goldfish07 (4yush5663) for TWRP recovery and lock screen patch!
